Nursery through 4’s
Children have an innate spirituality with a natural acceptance of mystery, an amazing capacity for awe, a vital imagination, and an ability to be open to and receive God's love. Knowing how to read is not required.
The Children’s Ministry team plans each program to educate and meet a particular need. We teach Bible stories and learn verses in the nurseries. As the child grows, they learn how to locate the verses and how to apply them to their daily life.
The classes meet as follows:
- 2’s - Room #102
- 3’s - Room #100
- 4’s - Room #101
Kindergarten through 5th Grade
For the summer, beginning on May 30, the kindergarten through 5th grade Sunday School will consist of two classes. One class for kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades in Room #206; the second for 3rd, 4th and 5th grades in Room #210. They will be focusing on learning the Old Testament books of the Bible—each child will receive a Bible song to help them—and also on service to others. It should be a lot of fun, and be very meaningful to both them and the congregation.
